An Unique, full-bodied wine made from selected, finest Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes from vineyards on the terraces. Selected and tested orientations, old and reliable clones.

SELECTION An elegant wine for special occasions, with an excellent structure. Part of the naturally dried, selected grapes. Luxury Cuvee that ripens only in the most favourable vintages.

The lable is made from the highest quality materials.

Grape variety: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc
Wine region: Goriška brda - Slovenia
Soil: flysch of Eocene origin (marl and sandstone with a predominantly clayey component), the soil is rich in minerals and marine fossils.
Vineyard orientation: SE
Altitude: 140m
Vine training: single Guyot
Grape harvest: October. Hand harvesting, selected grapes of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon at full ripeness. Gentle handling of grapes and must.
Maceration: 18 days on the skins in tronconic wooden vats. The wine is fermented with the grape`s own yeast. Fermentation is completed in wooden vats.
Barrels: Barriques, made to our order from Slovenian oak, selection.

Naturally dried, selected grapes are fermented in wooden vats and matured separately in barrique barrels.

Maturing: natural maturing in barrique barrels for four years. After tasting, the wines are blended to combine Cuvee MUSE RUBY. Maturing continues after bottling. TERTIARY AROMAS will develop over the years to come.
Sugar level: dry
Wine is not filtered.
Bottle and packaging: Bordolese GOLIA 0,75 l / cardboard box 6 bottles

Serving temperature: 18-20°C.

We recommend opening the bottle about one hour prior to tasting the wine. The aroma is fully developed through the process of decanting.


Description  An intense, ruby colour. With longer maturing, it takes on dark red hues. An intense, noble bouquet. A sophisticated aroma with balsamic notes of ripe red fruit, cherries, dark dried fruits, cherries in liqueur, all elegantly enriched with a soft spiciness and freshness. A strong, balanced, extremely enveloping and soft taste. An excellent wine, concentrated with ripe and well-blended aromas and minerals. The finish is almost balsamic with obvious notes of eucalyptus and liquorice. Over the years of maturing, the structure gains elegance and finesse of flavour, while keeping its freshenss, fruitiness and harmony of taste. Long, fresh and noble aftertaste. A Vibrant Wine.

MUSE RUBY Cuvee with a bottle ageing potential of fifteen years and more. The rich structure and harmony of the aromas acquire complexity, elegance, softness and bouquet with ageing.
Thanks to a highly suitable micro-terroir and natural production methods, the wine remains fresh, fruity, full of flavour and vitality.
