LUX red blend is made from grapes of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon growing in terraced vineyards. Our vineyards bring out Merlot`s potential with a smooth and soft wine with a great deal of colour, roasted aromas and flavours, while Cabernet Sauvignon brings its extracted aromas. The result is a harmonious blend.

Grape harvest: October. Hand harvesting at full ripeness. Gentle handling of grapes and must.
Maceration: 10 days on the skins in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation is completed in stainless steel tanks.
Maturation: natural maturing in oak barrels for two years. Maturing continues after bottling.

Description: Lively dark ruby colour. Noble bouquet. This blend offers a variety of aromas: ripe forest fruits, dark cherries, toast and a pleasantly balanced taste of oak. Complex and fresh taste. A harmonious wine with mineral notes and soft tannins. A fruity aftertaste.

Over the years of ageing, the structure and harmony of aromas grow in complexity and bouquet. The wine remains fresh and deep with a fullness of taste and vitality thanks to the micro-terroir and the natural production methods.
