LUX Red blend is made from grapes of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon growing in terraced vineyards. Our vineyards bring out Merlot`s potential with a smooth and soft wine with a great deal of colour, roasted aromas and flavours, while Cabernet Sauvignon brings its extracted aromas. The result is a harmonious blend.

Grape harvest: October. Hand harvesting at full ripeness. Gentle handling of grapes and must.
Maceration: 10 days on the skins in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation is completed in stainless steel tanks.
Barrels: Barriques, made to our order from Slovenian oak, selection.
Maturation: natural maturing in oak barrels for two years. Maturing continues after bottling.
Sugar level: dry
Bottle and packaging: Bordolese EUROPEA 0,75 l / cardboard box of 12 bottles

Serving temperature: 18 °C
Description: Brilliant ruby red colour. A noble bouquet. Aromas of ripe forest fruits, black cherries, almost spicy notes, toast with a pleasant woody note. Stands out for its aromatic and mineral character. Over the years of maturing, the structure gains elegance and finesse of flavour, while keeping its freshness, fruitiness, and harmony of taste. A complex wine with pleasant acidity and restrained tannins. A noble aftertaste.

LUX Cuvee with a bottle ageing potential of ten years and more. The rich structure and harmony of the aromas acquire complexity, elegance, and bouquet with ageing.
Thanks to a highly suitable micro-terroir and natural production methods, the wine remains fresh, fruity, and full of flavour and vitality.
