Wine growing region: Brda Slovenia and DOC Collio Goriziano Italy
Soil: flysch of Eocene origin (marl and sandstone).
Vineyard orientation: SE and SW
Altitude of the vineyards: 100 m
Vine training: single Guyot
Grape harvest: early September. Hand harvesting at full ripeness, selected grapes.
Vinification: Gentle handling of grapes and must. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Maturing: 7 months in stainless steel tanks.
Sugar level: dry
Bottle and packaging: Bordolese MED 0,75 l/cardboard box of 12 bottles
Serving temperature: 12 °C
Description: light yellow with golden tones. Bouquet with the freshness of spring flowers. Pleasant acidity on the palate with refined spiciness, a touch of apples and ripe citrus fruits. Minerals with buttery notes. A complex and harmonious wine with full taste. Lingering aftertaste.

Pinot Gris Constantini was served on the occasion of the state visit of the Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh in Slovenia. The lunch was organized by the British Ambassador.

Pinot Gris with the maturing capability of 5 years or more, in bottles. Over the years of ageing, the rich structure and harmony of aromas gain in complexity, elegance and bouquet. The wine stays fresh, fullness of taste and vitality thanks to the micro-terroir and the natural production method.
